Deonna Purrazzo: I Would Love To Work With NJPW More

Deonna Purrazzo wants to work with NJPW.

Purrazzo's time in AEW has been rather successful, as 'The Virtuosa' has competed in big matches against the likes of Thunder Rosa, Hikaru Shida, Toni Storm, and Willow Nightingale. Some fans believe that Purrazzo will soon find a way to challenge for the AEW Women's World Championship again, given that Toni Storm no longer holds the belt.

While speaking with The Wrestling Classic for a new interview, Purrazzo spoke about the promotion's growing women's division and how she sees so much potential in the possible storylines. Furthermore, Purrazzo said that she'd love to take advantage of AEW's partnerships and work with NJPW some more.

“That was the goal coming into this year. I was the first big signee of 2024, I got to debut in New Jersey, in my hometown, it was from day one incredible. So, to now see how that division is growing, Mercedes coming in March and Anna Jay just got back from a tour in STARDOM. Also, the New Japan STRONG Women’s Champion, so there’s that partnership with New Japan there. To see how our women’s division has grown tremendously, the people who are like OGs like an Anna, like Julia Hart, see what she’s done over the last year. It’s just a really incredible division and I see so much potential in all of the girls and so many stories that I could tell with them but so many stories they could tell within themselves. Then, all the partnerships that we have elsewhere. I would love to go back to Japan, I would love to work with New Japan a little bit more. The possibilities are endless, I’m just really excited about it.”

Purrazzo worked both of TNA and NJPW's Multiverse United shows in 2023.
