Eddie Kingston had some very choice words for Gabe Kidd.
After Gabe Kidd, David Finlay, KENTA & Clark Connors defeated Eddie Kingston, TJP, Jeff Cobb, and Homicide in a Riot Rules Mayhem Match at NJPW Windy City Riot, Kingston got on the microphone and declared that he would be defending his NJPW STRONG Openweight Title against Gabe Kidd in a No-Rope Last Man Standing fight at NJPW Resurgence.
Kidd accepted the challenge and both men began to brawl. After they were separated, Kingston got on the microphone and promised to "kill that motherfucker."

Eddie Kingston's STRONG Openweight Title is the only championship he has left after losing the AEW Continental Title to Kazuchika Okada and losing the Ring of Honor World Championship to Mark Briscoe.
