While appearing on the latest episode of Fightful's The Hump podcast, Cardona was asked about Chelsea Green's current run in the company, which is being praised by many fans. While praising the run, Cardona also stated that he thinks Green is the most succuessful out of any of WWE's recent re-hires.

“She is doing excellent. Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, Tag Team Champion. When she was released, she was actually wrestling on the indies. I don’t know what the prerequisite for coming back to WWE was, it felt like the prerequisite was doing nothing, but Chelsea actually worked her ass off and it shows. She’s knocking out of the park right now. I’d argue that from all of those rehires, she’s been the most successful.”

Green is currently one-half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships alongside Piper Niven.

In a separate interview, Cardona recently stated that the current look of the Intercontinental Championship is horrible and that he'd change it to a different design. Fans can learn more by clicking here.
