More Details On WWE's Interest In Jonah fka Bronson Reed

WWE has interest in another former name, but that's not news. However, them being offering him a deal is.

Recently, Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Radio reported that WWE had interest in Jonah, formerly known as Bronson Reed, with Wrestling Observer now reporting that he has a contract offer. Bronson was released in 2021, and Triple H was always a big supporter of his, evidenced by his booking within NXT. However, Jonah has since moved on to New Japan Pro Wrestling, where he was given a massive victory over Kazuchika Okada in 2022, all while not under a full-time contract.

However, there have been numerous wrestlers that have been reported as having interest from the current WWE regime that hadn't been contacted at the point of those reports. WWE sources did indicate that they made overtures towards Jonah, but didn't commit to whether or not he'd be brought back to WWE. Another source stated that Jonah was one of those that were discussed that improved their stock during their time away from WWE, and that he has multiple options to weigh. Fightful asked Jonah last week about word that he'd been contacted, and while we did hear back, he didn't confirm or deny.

One WWE source indicated that Jonah was a name they knew Triple H would be interested in bringing back to the company, but for whatever reason Vince McMahon didn't see "it."
