FTR is refocused on the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler appeared in a vignette on the February 8 AEW Collision. They said it was time for them to reclaim their status as the best tag team in the world, and as such, they were looking for a third reign with the AEW World Tag Team Titles.
The only other three-time AEW World Tag Team Champions are Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson, the Young Bucks. They defeated FTR in a Ladder Match at AEW Dynasty 2024 to earn that right.
The current AEW World Tag Team Champions are Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley of The Hurt Syndicate. They recently said they were open to taking on any challenge, leading to a match against Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn on the next episode of AEW Dynamite.
