Gabe Kidd is on fire.
Kidd has made a name for himself in recent months by using his cocky and egotistical personality to complement his in-ring skills.
Kidd recently cashed in on his popularity in a big way, as he defeated Eddie Kingston for the NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship back in May.
On July 3, Kidd took to social media to stir the pot some more, criticizing the era of NJPW that featured Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes, and Chris Jericho as champions. Kidd’s post was met with backlash from fans, as this era of the promotion was extremely popular among fans.
Kidd also stated that he’d beat Omega, Rhodes, or Jericho in two minutes.

Given NJPW's partnership with AEW, Kidd facing off against Omega or Jericho in the future is a possibility. However, a match against Rhodes is unlikely, as he is currently signed with WWE.
