Homicide Says He's Retiring Because Doctors Found A Cyst On His Brain

Homicide reveals the reason for his retirement.

On Thursday, March 20, the pro wrestling legend will compete in his final match, teaming with Bull James to take on the duo of Afa Jr. and Mike Santana. The match will be held at Outlaw Wrestling's End Of An Era show in Brooklyn, New York.

Just hours before the match, Homicide took to Facebook in an emotional post to share the reasoning for his retirement, stating that doctors recently found a cyst on his brain. Homicide revealed that he's had the cyst for months and that his vision and speech are getting bad.

Homicide's legendary career spanned nearly 32 years, allowing him to compete for basically every major promotion outside of WWE. Homicide is mainly known for his stints with TNA and ROH, two companies that he spent the majority of his career with.

Furthermore, 'The Notorious 187' is a former TNA World Tag Team Champion, ROH World Tag Team Champion, ROH World Champion, TNA X-Division Champion, NWA World Tag Team Champion, NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion, and PWG Tag Team Champion.

Homicide will end his career with a ton of notable and memorable matches under his belt, primarily against other legends like Chris Hero, Bryan Danielson, Samoa Joe, and Steve Corino.
