ICW Announces Its Contract With WWE Has Come To An End, Information For Upcoming Shows

Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW) has announced the end of its contract with WWE.

ICW shows have been available on the streaming platform since 2020. Subscribers could see stars like Joe Coffey and Wolfgang compete at ICW shows. The two companies have been on good terms for years, as they have had a working agreement. Plus, Triple H memorably appeared at an ICW event in 2017. However, fans will no longer be able to watch ICW shows on WWE Network.

On January 17, Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp reported that WWE will be discontinuing independent content on the platform. The next day, ICW took to Twitter to confirm that its contract with WWE has come to an end. The company stated that it would reveal the new homes of its content "in due course." ICW confirmed that all unaired programming will air on YouTube and ICW On Demand, and the Fight Club Event on January 29 will air live on Facebook and YouTube.

The statement is as follows:

ICW’s contract with WWE has come to an end. We’ll be revealing the new homes of ICW programming in due course. In the meantime, all unaired programming will air on YouTube and ICW On Demand. A new episode will air on YouTube every day at 5pm GMT from now till Thursday 26 January. ICW On Demand subscribers already have access to 5 new episodes, with 4 more due to air by Tuesday 24 January. Our ICW Fight Club event on Sunday 29 January will air live on Facebook and YouTube.
