Last night at the WWE Royal Rumble event, Roman Reigns used a golf cart to run over Kevin Owens during their Last Man Standing WWE Universal Championship bout.

Following this, several wrestling fans on Twitter began comparing this spot to Matt Hardy using a golf cart several times in AEW to attack Sammy Guevara. Matt Hardy himself even tweeted a gif of his attack on Guevara during the Royal Rumble.

Kenny Omega, an EVP of AEW, later tweeted a message to “weird WWE stans” that, regardless of what their take may be, he doesn't care much for wrestling opinions and that is not a way to get under his skin.
Word of advice to all you weird WWE stans. If you’re trying to piss me off, tweet something controversial about a video game I like. I don’t care much about wresting opinions. Those are yours. Have them.
