The tensions rise between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.
Sami Zayn hit the ring for a major announcement on WWE Raw, revealing that he'll be entering the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble match. Before being interrupted by Kevin Owens, Zayn detailed his desire and intention to win a world championship in WWE.
Once Owens hit the ring, the conversation didn't change, as the faux WWE Champion encouraged and cheered on Zayn and his intentions to win the Royal Rumble match. Owens also quickly explained that he currently has no issue with Zayn teaming with Roman Reigns last year, noting the history between both stars.
The segment came to a close with Owens seemingly getting in the head of Zayn, saying that knows he will be there for him if he needs him during his Ladder match with Cody Rhodes at Royal Rumble. This statement was built on Owens presenting the idea that he and Zayn could headline WrestleMania together.
