Kyle O'Reilly not appearing at EVOLVE this weekend.
WWN/EVOLVE put out a statement saying Kyle O'Reilly will be unable to compete this weekend at EVOLVE 129 and 130. The former NXT Tag Team Champion was scheduled to team with Roderick Strong to take on WWN Champion JD Drake & Anthony Henry on Saturday at EVOLVE 129. The next night he was tapped to battle Josh Briggs in singles competition.
No reason was given for O'Reilly being pulled from the events. He has not wrestled since the fatal four-way tag team ladder match at NXT TakeOver: XXV, where he suffered multiple lacerations on his back during the match. He was recently pulled from Download Fest as well.
We are sorry to inform you that Kyle O'Reilly will not be able to compete at EVOLVE this weekend. We were just given the news. We will have more information and updated cards later today or tomorrow. Thank you for understanding.
