Rey Fenix was the one to retrieve the belts for the team. The bout also featured Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis), La Faccion Ingobernable (RUSH & Dralistico), The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett), and Top Flight (Dante & Darius Martin).

Just before the finish, Penta hit a destroyer off a ladder and through multiple tables on Dante Martin, who looked to suffer a nasty ankle injury.

After the bout, Mark Briscoe came out to congratulate the Lucha Bros. They were joined by FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler).

The Briscoes (Mark & Jay Briscoe) were the reigning ROH Tag Team Champions, but Jay tragically passed away in a car accident on January 17. Mark relinquished the belts, allowing for new champions to be crowned. The idea for the Reach for the Sky Ladder match came from QT Marshall, with Mark's approval.

This marks the first reign as ROH Tag Team Champions for the Lucha Bros.
