Matt Hardy has made his return to Raw.
The former multi-time tag team champion surprised everybody by returning to Raw for a match, his first on the red brand of 2019. Hardy took on Buddy Murphy and despite a spirited effort, Murphy emerged victorious.

Hardy has only been on WWE programming a handful of times, last appearing at a Battle Royal at Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia back in June. Before that, he appeared on SmackDown back in April when he and his brother Jeff defeated The Usos to become the SmackDown Tag Team champions. Their title reign was cut short after Jeff suffered a knee injury that required surgery.
