Miro Says He Was A Part Of Undertaker's WrestleMania 29 Entrance

Before Miro was a multi-time United States Champion in WWE as Rusev, he was one of the many set of hands that flooded Undertaker's entrance at WrestleMania 29.

In a recent stream, Miro talked about Undertaker and his Final Farewell at this recent Survivor Series show, where he appeared to have called it a career. Miro told the story of how he was actually a part of Undertaker's entrance at WrestleMania 29 when Undertaker faced CM Punk. Miro added that he and a lot of current wrestling stars who were a part of WWE's WrestleMania Axxess event were in the entrance where dozens of hands surrounded Undertaker as he made his way down to the ring.

“I don’t know if you know this, but I was in his entrance in WrestleMania with Punk in New York. I was part of his entrance. When he came out with the hands underneath, when he was like coming out of hell and these hands were poking out, I was one of those guys. I was one of those hands. They got all of us developmental people because we were at Axxess. We wrestled at Axxess so they used us for Taker’s entrance and we all got to do that. It was so many of us. Almost anybody that you see on TV now in the past few years, it was us," Miro said.

Miro also recalled the first time he actually met Undertaker, which was a decade ago in Miro's WWE tryout in the summer of 2010. Miro was stunned at how relaxed and friendly he was to everyone there, despite not being WWE superstars like Undertaker at the time. Less than a decade later, Miro worked a program with Undertaker with a match taking place in Saudi Arabia.

"Being there for that, just thinking about it, from a kid, then I met ‘Taker once on my one tryout in SummerSlam in 2010. I met ‘Taker then and he just walked out there, a smiling guy. He’s like, ‘Hey guys, what’s going on?’ We were just extras and he had the biggest smile on his face and he said, ‘Hey, how are you?’ That’s always his deal, ‘How are you?’ I was like, what the fu? Just trying to keep myself composed," Miro said.
