Mustafa Ali Would Like To Institute Weight Limits And Town Hall Meetings To TNA X-Division

Mustafa Ali wants to make changes to the TNA X-Division.

Mustafa Ali is the reigning TNA X-Division Champion, and the President of Pro Wrestling. As the champion and President, he wields power that no other wrestler in the division or company has. The X-Division tagline states, "It's not about weight limits, it's about no limits."

Ali would like to change that.

"One, weight limits, obviously," Ali said when asked what changes he would like to bring to X-Division while speaking to Jeremy Lambert & Joel Pearl on In The Weeds. "Who wants to see Jake Something as the champion? The guy is grotesque. I would like to give people some sort of power. Some sort of vote in this, so I would hold open votes. I would have a town hall meeting. That's what I would have. A Town Hall meeting amongst the X-Division competitors. We are a democracy. We should vote for who is next in line. Then, as the X-Division Champion, I get final say whether that happens. I think that would be fun. I think that would be fair. Town Hall meeting. Everyone comes up to the podium and presents their case. That's something I would impose. I think it's a novel concept and would be great."

Ali is scheduled to defend the TNA X-Division Title against Jake Something at TNA Rebellion on April 20.

In the interview, Ali hinted as having Jake take a drug test, just to ensure everything is on the up and up with him.
