After making his big-screen debut in the recently released 'The Suicide Squad,' Peacemaker is headed to HBO Max for an eight-episode spin-off series.
John Cena, who is reprising his role as the title character, appeared today at DC FanDome for a discussion with the cast and creators and unveiled a new teaser trailer. In it, we see how Peacemaker gets involved with his new crew after the events of The Suicide Squad. There is also plenty of action, jokes, dancing in your underwear, and tender embraces with eagles.

During the panel, it was also shared by the producers that James Gunn wrote all eight episodes and directed five of them. Furthermore, the series was given a Thursday, January 13, 2022, premiere date on HBO Max.
Peacemaker also stars Steve Agee, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, Danielle Brooks, Robert Patrick, and Chukwudi Iwuji, among others.
