Nick Aldis is giving Kevin Owens one more chance.
The December 27 edition of WWE SmackDown opened with a promo from General Manager Nick Aldis, who addressed the situation surrounding Kevin Owens, Cody Rhodes, the Winged Eagle Championship.
Aldis quickly got to the task at hand, confirming that Owens is not a champion despite being in possession of the belt. After recapping some of the history behind the belt, Aldis then went on and told Owens that he needs to give up the title by the end of SmackDown. If he doesn't, he'll face severe consequences.
