The Golden Star isn't going anywhere.
Kota Ibushi surprised many at today's The New Beginning in Osaka event, showing up unannounced to a big reception from the Osaka crowd. Ibushi thanked fans for supporting him during his time off following Wrestle Kingdom 13. Ibushi assured fans that he would not be leaving NJPW and announced that he would return to be part of the New Japan Cup. Ibushi suffered a concussion during his Wrestle Kingdom 13 bout against Will Ospreay and was stretched out of the arena as a result. The concussion kept him off The New Beginning Tour.
