The NXT North American Championship will be on the line at Stand & Deliver 2022.
On the March 1 episode of NXT 2.0, Carmelo Hayes successfully defended the NXT North American Championship against Pete Dunne. After the match, he got on the mic and said that he is taking his talents to Dallas for WrestleMania weekend, where he'll defend his title in the match it was forged in, a Ladder Match.
The belt was first awarded in April 2018 at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans. On that night, Adam Cole defeated EC3, Killian Dain, Lars Sullivan, Ricochet, and Velveteen Dream to become the inaugural champion.
