Omos: Oba Femi Called Me Out. I Told Him, 'Patience. In Due Time, Brother'

Omos hasn't wrestled since competing in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal ahead of WWE WrestleMania XL.

While Omos has been waiting for his next opportunity, Oba Femi has had a meteoric rise through the ranks of NXT, becoming the longest-reigning NXT North American Champion earlier this year.

Speaking to The Undertaker on Six Feet Under, Omos said he's been getting called out by Oba.

"I'm [at the Performance Center] every week. The other kid that's down there right now, he kind of called me out and I told him, 'Not time yet,' Oba Femi. I was like, 'in due time, brother. We're going to square off. Patience.' I'm learning from [The Undertaker]. He taught me this, you got to think about long-term business. If you give the fans this match now, five years down the line it doesn't mean anything anymore. They've seen it already. But if we waited three or four years, then we give you the match, there's something there. But you want them to clamor for it even more before," he said.

It is unknown when Omos will return to WWE TV.
