Pat McAfee is officially a WWE employee.
Back in December, McAfee announced on his show, The Pat McAfee Show, that WWE offered him a multi-year deal.
“WWE has formally offered me a multi-year contract. Who knows what we’re going to be doing over there, they just want me to come make some content. We’ll see where it goes," said McAfee at the time.
Today, McAfee officially announced that, as of Feb. 1, he is a WWE employee.

McAfee said he will be "on a microphone, doing digital things, and however else I can help the company."
McAfee is part of NXT kick-off shows and has produced digital content for WWE in the past. In October, WWE uploaded an episode of Mind of McAfee where Pat looked back on SmackDown 1000.
The former NFL punter spent eight years in the league with the Indianapolis Colts before retiring in 2016.
