Braun Strowman has been sidelined with an injury in recent weeks, according to a new report.
Strowman previously missed a few shows at the end of April, as he reportedly suffered a concussion. The injury seemingly occurred on the April 21 episode of WWE SmackDown, where he and Ricochet defeated the Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar).
Strowman was cleared for action for the April 28 episode of WWE SmackDown, where he and Ricochet lost to The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) in a three-way match. His most recent match came in a tag team bout against Alpha Academy (Otis and Chad Gable) During the 2023 WWE Draft, Strowman and Ricochet were selected by WWE Raw, but he has not appeared since.
Per Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Strowman has been dealing with an unspecified injury, and he is on the disabled list. Johnson wrote that the former Universal Champion is not expected to return in the near future, and he is not being factored into creative ideas for the time being. One source expressed their belief that Strowman may require surgery, but the nature of the issue he is dealing with has not been confirmed.
Fightful will provide more information as it becomes available.
