Dean Ambrose will be back on television soon.
Dean Ambrose injured his triceps tendon and had surgery to repair the damage in December. He took part in physical rehabilitation and has been rumored to be returning this summer. PWInsider has reported Ambrose will be returning in the next month. Some of the sources said he would be at SummerSlam or some time around that pay-per-views.
When he left with injury, Ambrose was part of the Raw roster and had been feuding with Sheamus and Cesaro over the Raw Tag Team Championship with his teammate Seth Rollins. The Shield had recently reunited around the time Ambrose was injured. Rollins and the other Shield member Roman Reigns are still on Raw.
At SummerSlam, Rollins will be challenging Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Intercontinental Championship and Roman Reigns will be wrestling Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship.
Fightful will continue to monitor the status of Ambrose as he makes his way back to WWE television.
Fightful Wrestling will have live coverage and a recapping podcast for SummerSlam. The same is done for Raw and Smackdown each week.
