One of the favorites to win the Mae Young Classic apparently suffered a concussion during the tapings earlier this month.
According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Kairi Sane, (formerly Kairi Hojo) the recent transplant from Japan, is also "dealing with some neck pain," but NXT and WWE officials say she'll be cleared to return to the ring in early August. Without spoiling the events from the tapings, it is unclear during which match she might have sustained the injuries.

There's no apparent danger that she might miss the MYC Final match, which is due to air Live on the WWE Network after SmackDown on September 12 in Vegas.
