Nia Jax is reportedly set to return tonight, while Roman Reigns is not.
PWinsider reports that Nia Jax is set to return tonight on Raw. If true, it would finally bring an end of a sea of conflicting reports during the few weeks she took off. It was originally reported that she would be taking a leave of absence from the WWE to deal with a personal issue. While the Wrestling Observer reported that the situation was overblown, and was just a matter of taking time off. Sports Illustrated, maintained that there was more to the story than that.
As for Roman Reigns, he is reportedly still out of action after catching a viral infection that spread around the locker room a couple of weeks ago. Reigns is expected to return before Survivor Series, but will not be on Raw tonight and will also not take part in the European tour that starts later this week. He was originally set to team with the Shield as part of that tour.
Reigns’ illness came at a time when he was set to reunite the Shield as they faced The Miz, Kane, Braun Strowman and The Bar at WWE TLC. Kurt Angle took his place, and the trio managed to overcome the odds and win their match.
