Report: NWA Planning On Introducing New Title Into Its Women's Division

According to a new report, the National Wrestling Alliance is planning on adding a third title to its women’s division.

In 2021, the national wrestling Alliance held its first-ever women-only pay-per-view event, EmPowerrr. This year, as the one-year anniversary of that event approaches, a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider reveals that the promotion is planning on launching an NWA Women's Television Championship.

According to the report, the belt has been discussed as a potential vehicle to push Allysin Kay. Kay, should she win this belt, would be the first-ever Triple Crown Champion for NWA’s women. She is a former NWA Women's World Champion and was one half of the first NWA Women's Tag Team Champions with Marti Belle.

The design, per the report, is being worked on by Billy Corgan and Dave Millican. Dave is known as “The Ace of Belts” and has worked with many different emotions through the years.
