Report: NXT Halloween Havoc Premium Live Event Planned For October

WWE NXT Halloween Havoc is reportedly set to return this year, but it won't air on television. Instead, it will be a premium live event.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE will hold a NXT Halloween Havoc premium live event on Saturday, October 22. This show is set to be NXT's next major event after Worlds Collide on September 4. Before Worlds Collide, NXT last held a Premium Live Event with In Your House in June. As of this writing, it's unclear where Halloween Havoc will be held.

NXT brought back Halloween Havoc in 2020 as a special episode of NXT. The event returned the next year, and in both instances, it aired in NXT's typical slot on USA Network. The 2021 edition of the show was headlined by an NXT Championship match between Bron Breakker and Tommaso Ciampa. It also featured Mandy Rose defeating Raquel Gonzalez to win the NXT Women's Championship and Imperium beating MSK to win the NXT Tag Team Championship.

Previously, Halloween Havoc had been a WCW pay-per-view for several years; the final show under this banner was in 2000.
