Report: Sasha Banks Returning To The Road For WWE Next Week

"The Boss" is coming back.

Yesterday it was reported by Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet that former 5-time WWE Women's Champion Sasha Banks has been dealing with a back injury but the severity of it was unknown. The last time that the 26-year old Banks competed in the ring was on September 9th at a WWE Live Event in Mississippi.

Prior to the report of Sasha Banks dealing with a back injury, she was pulled from the Mixed Match Challenge tournament and her scheduled appearance on the MTV show 'Ridiculousness' and filling in for Banks for the TV appearance was SmackDown Live Women's Champion Becky Lynch. With nearly an entire month out of the ring, Sasha Banks is set to return according to PWInsider. The site provided a follow-up report on the status of "The Legit Boss" and noted that she is returning to the road for WWE next week and is currently being advertised for a live event on October 20th in Portland just one week away from WWE's first-ever all-women's PPV 'Evolution'.

On a related note, two singles matches that were slated for 'Evolution were combined into one.  Alexa Bliss was set to go one-on-one with Trish Stratus, and Mickie James versus WWE Hall Of Famer Lita was scheduled to take place on the show as well but this past Monday on RAW it was made official that Mickie James and Alexa Bliss will team up to face the two WWE Hall Of Famers
