Live Coverage
— The show begins and our commentary team of Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone and Excalibur welcome us to tonight's show from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and it's time for our opening contest of the evening.
CM Punk vs. Dustin Rhodes
— A shake of hands starts this one off. Punk shoves Rhodes into the ropes but Rhodes comes back with a shoulder tackle, then an arm-drag but Punk reverses the momentum with hip toss and both competitors break away to reset. Punk with another hip toss, then another, Rhodes locks-in a head scissors, Punk rolls out and counters into a leg-lock then a bow-and-arrow stretch but Rhodes rolls Punk back into a pin, Punk kicks out and reapplies a leg submission, Rhodes powers out and gets back to the feet and tosses Punk into the ropes, then the corner and chops the chest. Rhodes goes for a corner splash, Punk meets him with a boot to the face, goes for the GTS, Rhodes slides out and rolls Punk up, Punk kicks out and Rhodes locks up Punk's left arm. Punk gets to his feet and ducks under Rhodes, who came launching toward him with a dive and spills to the outside and is selling a left knee injury as referee Paul Turner goes to the outside to check on Rhodes. Punk follows Rhodes out and tries to help him back into the ring but Rhodes shoves him off tries to walk off the injury. Punk eventually gets Rhodes in the ring, Rhodes kicks him back, Punk works over the injured leg of Rhodes and the latter screams out in pain. Punk continues to drop elbows and leg drops to the injured knee of Rhodes and we head to a commercial break. Back from the break and Punk trips Rhodes on the apron but Rhodes sends Punk face-first to the apron with an arm-drag. Both competitors struggle back into the ring and unload heavy strikes on one another. Rhodes with a series of clotheslines then sends Punk to the corner, Rhodes climbs to the middle top and delivers a number of punches but Rhodes' left knee gives out and he falls to the mat but Rhodes hits Punk out of nowhere with Code Red and goes for the cover but Punk lifts the shoulders at two-and-a-half! Punk gets up and goes for the GTS, Rhodes shoves him aside and plants him with a scoop-slam before going for the cover but Punk kicks out. Rhodes looks for Cross Rhodes, Punk drops to his back and drills Rhodes with an overhead kick before locking-in the figure-four. Both competitors end up in a seated position and trade slaps to the face while still in a leg-lock, Rhodes looks to reverse the pressure and does but Punk slides to the bottom rope and grabs it to force the break. Punk rolls to the apron and spring-boards off the top rope but Rhodes punches him in mid-air, lands a Cross Rhodes then a pile-driver before going for the cover but Punk somehow kicks out! Rhodes lands a bevy of punches and goes for the bionic elbow but Punk rocks him with a roundhouse kick and lifts Rhodes for the GTS, Rhodes slides out but Punk locks up Rhodes' legs in a pretzel and gets the 1-2-3!
Winner - CM Punk
— After the match Punk and Rhodes embrace, Rhodes exits, Punk starts to head out but AEW World Champion Adam 'Hangman' Page's music hits and he and Punk stare each other down on the entrance ramp. Punk exits and we cut backstage where we see Wardlow arriving to the arena earlier today. Mark Sterling meets Wardlow with a number of AEW security. Sterling tells Wardlow that security will escort him with everything and he must wear handcuffs everyone he goes in the arena. Sterling says MJF told him to tell Wardlow 'eat pig', to which Wardlow replies 'oink oink, bitch'. Sterling leaves and security escorts Wardlow to his locker room. We then head back to the ring where it's time for our next matchup.
Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson & Wheeler Yuta) (with William Regal) vs. Lee Moriarty, Dante Martin & Brock Anderson (with Arn Anderson)
— A brawl between all six competitors start this one off. Yuta and Martin end up as the legal participants to officially start the match. Martin goes for an arm-drag, Yuta rolls out and clocks Martin with a drop-kick then makes the tag to Danielson, who unloads a number of kicks to Martin but Martin comes firing back with a kick of his own and Danielson makes the tag to Moxley, Martin makes the tag to Anderson and Anderson sends Moxley to the corner before going for a splash but Moxley slides out of the way and tosses Anderson to the mat as we head to a commercial break. Back from the break and Moxley's working over Anderson in the center of the ring, looks for a clothesline but Anderson scoops him and slams the former AEW World Champion with a spine-buster. Anderson makes the tag to Moriarty, Moxley makes one to Danielson and Moriarty clears the ring before launching himself off the top turnbuckle with a dive onto Danielson. Moriarty and Danielson exchange strikes, Moriarty clocks Danielson with a forearm then a back-suplex before going for the cover but Danielson kicks out. Moriarty locks-in a cross-face, Danielson powers to his feet, Moriarty makes the tag to Martin, who drills Danielson with a kick from the top rope, Danielson makes the tag to Moxley, Martin tosses Moxley to the outside and drills him with a diving kick from the top rope, Martin tosses Moxley back in the ring, Moxley, Danielson and Yuta all take out a member of the opposing team, Moxley plants Martin with the Paradigm Shift and gets the three-count for the win!
Winners - Blackpool Combat Club
— Backstage, we see the Young Bucks, reDRagon and Adam Cole on the Brandon Cutler Cam. O'Reilly says it's time for all of them to turn it around and it's time to live up to the name the 'Undisputed Elite'. O'Reilly says he's going to beat Jungle Boy tonight and qualify for the Owen Hart Cup. Cole says as a unit, they can't be stopped and next week, he thinks they should issue an 'Undisputed Elite Open Challenge' to anyone for a 10-man tag match. Cole asks the Bucks to think about and walks off, reDRagon and the Bucks yell at Cutler to turn the camera off and we head to a commercial break.
— Back from the break and we see a video package highlighting the feud between Ring of Honor Televsion Champion Samoa Joe and Jay Lethal, Satnam Singh and Sonjay Dutt.
— We then cut to the stage where Tony Schiavone introduced AEW President, Tony Khan, who comes out and thanks the Pittsburgh crowd. Khan introduced New Japan Pro Wrestling President Takami Ohbari. Adam Cole pops up on the big tron and says for an announcement this big, Adam Cole's the only one who can properly do it. Cole says on June 26th from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, AEW and NJPW will present 'Forbidden Door'! Cole says fans can get a taste of the AEW and NJPW mix, this Friday on Rampage, because it'll be Cole vs. Tomohiro Ishii in an Owen Hart Cup qualifying match! Cole guarantees a member of the Undisputed Elite will win the Owen Hart Cup and says he has a special friend who wants to come down to the ring and say hello. 'Switchblade' Jay White's music hits and out he comes! White says the last time he headlined a major show in the US, he sold out Madison Square Garden. White says it's still their era and exits.
— We then cut backstage where TBS Champion Jade Cargill is with Mark Sterling, Keira Hogan and Red Velvet. Cargill, Hogan and Red all laugh at Marina Shafir's nickname 'The Problem'. Kiera and Red say that Cargill's the problem solver, Cargill says she'll see Marina on Friday and calls her a bitch. We then cut back to the ring where it's time for our next match.
Wardlow vs. The Butcher
— MJF and Shawn Spears are shown in a press box following Butcher's entrance. MJF roasts Pittsburgh, the Steelers and Ben Roethlisberger then says Wardlow will come down to the ring with no entrance and no pyro then orders security to 'let the pig out' and Wardlow makes his way down to the ring while handcuffed with a number of security surrounding him. Wardlow's let out of the handcuffs and this one is finally officially underway. Both competitors trade several heavy strikes, Butcher tosses Wardlow to the corner and drills him with a head-butt, Wardlow knocks Butcher back and Butcher spills to the outside. Butcher retrieves several steel chairs, Wardlow goes to the outside and the brawl continues. Butcher sends Wardlow into the barricade, then the ring post, Wardlow knocks Butcher back with a knee and looks for the power-bomb but Butcher slides out and slams Wardlow onto the apron before tossing the big man back into the ring. Wardlow plants Wardlow with a power-bomb then goes for the cover but Wardlow kicks out at one! Wardlow kicks Butcher in the mid-section and plants him with a massive power-bomb...then another...then another...then a fourth before finally making the cover and Wardlow gets the 1-2-3!

— After the match, security comes back down to the ring and reapplies the handcuffs as MJF and Spears look down from the press box and we head to a commercial break.
— Back from the break and Eddie Kingston's backstage and says this Friday on Rampage it's just him and Daniel Garcia and nobody from Jericho Appreciation Society and Santana and Ortiz aren't allowed in the building. Kingston tells Chris Jericho to pay close attention to what he does to Garcia because it's all intended for him. We then head back to the ringside area and it's time for our next match.
Jungle Boy vs. Kyle O'Reilly — Owen Hart Cup Qualifying Match
— A grappling exchange to start. JB with a takedown, KOR kicks him back then transitions into top control, hoists JB's shoulders to the mat but JB kicks out and knocks KOR back before going up top with a dive, KOR catches him into an arm-bar but JB slides to the ropes and forces the break by referee Aubrey Edwards. JB reverses momentum and slams KOR to the mat, KOR comes back with a triple-DDT before going for the cover but JB kicks out and we head to a commercial break. Back from the break and KOR tosses JB to the corner, JB fights out of it with a kick then lights KOR up with a series of clotheslines, KOR goes for a running lariat but JB dunks him to the outside and dives through the middle ropes and sends KOR into the barricade. JB tries to get back into the ring, KOR drags him back to the outside but JB rocks him with an inside-out clothesline. JB slides back into the ring drills KOR with a DDT and turns it into a guillotine choke, KOR powers to his feet and counters into a head-and-arm choke of his own and scoop-slams JB to the mat but JB pushes himself off the ropes and lays KOR out with a lariat. JB sends KOR to the corner, KOR rushes forward but JB launches him back with an overhead slam into the corner. JB gets KOR into the tree of woe, KOR rakes the eyes, JB unloads a bevy of lunches and starts stomping on KOR before drilling him with a sweeping drop-kick to the corner. JB looks for a sliding elbow but KOR gets to his feet and unloads a series of strikes, JB stymies the momentum with a super-kick, rolls KOR up, KOR kicks out and applies an ankle lock, JB rolls back and locks-in a cross-face but KOR drags himself to the bottom rope and grabs it to force the break. JB goes up top, KOR drills him with a kick and plants JB with a super-plex but JB rolls it into a pin and KOR kicks out at two-and-a-half! KOR goes up top and drills JB with a flying knee and gets the three-count!
Winner - Kyle O'Reilly (Qualifies For Owen Hart Cup
— We then see MJF and Shawn Spears backstage with Alex Marvez. MJF calls Alex a 'stupid old man'. MJF all it takes is one bite from a snake to kill their pray. Jake 'The Snake' Roberts comes in and MJF hands the legend an envelope of cash. Roberts says an old tale and Lance Archer comes in and smacks the envelope away and says he doesn't care about the money, he just wants to fight because in the end 'everybody dies'. We then cut back to the ring where it's time for HOOK's Dynamite debut!
HOOK vs. Anthony Henry
— Henry locks up HOOK, who ankle picks the former and locks-in an ankle lock but Henry geabs the bottom rope and forced the break by referee Bryce Remsburg. HOOK with an overhead slam, then a lariat to the back of the head before delivering a pair of clubbing forearms to Henry. Danhausen appears at ringside and tries to curse HOOK but HOOK applies a choke to Henry and Henry taps!
Winner - HOOK
— After the match, Danhausen gets in the ring and says if he won't be cursed by Danhausen...he must fight Danhausen! HOOK shoved Danhausen with a shoulder and walks out.
— We then cut backstage where Frankie Kazarian is with Tony Schiavone. Kazarian calls out TNT Champion Sammy Guevara. Scorpio Sky interrupts and says if it weren't for Kazarian, he wouldn't be where he is today and he knows Kazarian wants the TNT Title but he needs Kazarian to just wait a little bit longer for him to get his rematch against Guevara and then he can get the first shot. Kazarian says he's always had Scorpio's back and he always will. They shake hands and we head to a commercial break.
— Back from the break and we see a video package highlighting AEW Women's Champion Thunder Rosa's win over Nyla Rosa at Battle of The Belts from this past Saturday.
— TNT Champion Sammy Guevara makes his way down to the ring alongside Tay Conti. Sammy says he loves the fans for all of their support. Sammy says everyone that doesn't support him is just mad that his girlfriend is hotter than theirs and their only choice is to be mad. Scorpio Sky, Ethan Page and Dan Lambert make their way down to the ring. Scorpio says screw Sammy, Page says there's not one human in the arena that came there tonight to hear Sammy Guevara talk on a microphone. Page says Sammy needs close his mouth and open his ears to listen to 'Dynamite Dan'. Lambert says Sammy can either give Scorpio his rematch or he's going to send Scorpio and Page to the ring to give Sammy 'the pounding his girlfriend could only dream about'. Sammy says he'll give Scorpio the title rematch next week and it'll be a ladder match for the TNT Title on next week's Dynamite!
— We then cut backstage where Malakai Black, Brody King and Buddy Matthews of House of Black cut a pre-taped promo.
Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. (with Najee Harris & Pat Freiermuth) vs. Danielle Kamela — Owen Hart Cup Qualifiying Match
— Kamela with a takedown to start, Baker rolls her back for a pin but Kamela kicks out, another quick roll-up from Baker but Kamela lifts the shoulders once again and we head to a commercial break. Back from the break and Kamela's working over Baker in the middle of the ring. Kamela snatches a terrible towel from ringside and chokes Baker with it but Baker takes her down and unloads a number of strikes. Baker drills Kamela with several forearms then a sling-blade. Baker drills Kamela with a thrust-kick then a slam before planting her with a stomp. Baker asks Freiermuth for a special Steelers glove and she locks-in the Lock Jaw and Kamela immediately taps!
Winner - Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. (Qualifies For Owen Hart Cup)
— After the match, Baker roasts the entirety of the AEW women's division and says if Toni Storm that if she thought cake in the face was bad, wait until Jamie Hayter gets her hands on her and then she'll 'want to leave this company too'. Baker tells Jade Cargill's 'Baddie Section' to 'sit the hell down' because she's 'the baddest bitch on the block'. Baker exits with Freiermuth and Harris and we see a video package highlighting the rivalry between Serena Deeb and Hikaru Shida. It's announced that they'll face each other in a 'Philly Street Fight' on next Wednesday's edition of Dynamite. Excalibur runs down this Friday's card for Rampage as well as next week's card for Dynamite. It's then announced that our main event of the evening will go down after the break.
Andrade El Idolo (with Jose The Assistant) vs. Darby Allin (with Sting) — Coffin Match
— Blade immediately comes down and goes after Darby but Darby runs him off with his skateboard. Darby clocks Andrade with the board but Marq Quen comes out of nowhere and attacks Darby and the numbers are starting to pile up on the former TNT Champion. Darby knocks Quen and Blade back with the board and leaps onto Andrade but Andrade catches him and launches him over the barricade then blasts him with the board. Quen rips apart someone's sign at ringside but Sting appears and attacks both Quen and Blade. Darby takes control of Andrade and it's pure chaos in the crowd. Stint and Darby continue the attack on Andrade, Quen and Blade but the numbers finally catch up to the pair and Quen drills Sting with a steel chair. Sting gets pissed off and launched Quen off of a platform and into Blade and Andrade. Sting goes up to the platform and comes crashing down onto everyone and we head to a commercial break. Back from the break and Andrade's working over Darby in the corner whilst back in the ring. Andrade sets up a chair on a sat, cornered Darby and looks for a running knee but Darby throws the chair at Andrade and plants him with a slam. Andrade rolls to the outside, Darby goes up top and looks for the Coffin Drop but Andrade catches him and drills him with a German suplex. Andrade drags Darby to the coffin and drills him with a strike and tosses Darby into the coffin. Andrade tries to close the cover (that has thumbtacks on the inside of the cover) but Darby shoves him back but Andrade plants Darby with an overhead slam on the stage. Andrade looks for a suplex on the stage's side grate, Darby fights him off but Andrade overpowers him and launches him onto the grate. Andrade drags Darby to the coffin but takes a pit stop to launch him into the steel steps. Andrade slams Darby onto the apron and removes the lid from the coffin before carrying Darby up onto the apron but Darby fights back with some elbows and flips back into the ring and drops Andrade to the outside. Darby comes diving through the ropes and they both go into the coffin. Darby slides out of the coffin and tries to close the lid but Jose The Assistant rushes down, steps on the cover and flips off Darby. Jose tries to power-bomb Darby into the coffin, Darby kicks him back and wallops Andrade with the coffin cover full of thumbtacks and slams the lid shut for the win!

— After the match, Sting comes back down to the ring and he and Darby celebrate as Matt and Jeff Hardy make their way down and they all celebrate as the show goes-off-the-air.
