Hey Fight Fans, welcome to our coverage of tonight's edition of IMPACT Wrestling on the Pursuit Network and Twitch TV featuring the return of RVD!
-Michael Elgin comes out to the ring to start the show and talks about Brian Cage and his plans to become the new IMPACT World champion. The former champion Johnny Impact comes out to the ring and says that he is the rightful challenger and is entitled to a rematch before they're interrupted by Konnan who says that Pentagon deserves a title shot. Konnan says that if they went in chronological order Pentagon would be number one, Johnny number two and Michael number three. Michael then goes to attack Konnan, but he's saved by Pentagon before they're broken up by security.
Petey Williams vs Ace Austin
Petey is in control early before Ace sends him out of the ring and hits suicide dive before rolling him back into the ring, but Petey catches him up top and Ace hits a spider suplex into a diving roundhouse kick for a quick two count. Ace locks in a Fujiwara armbar and gives him a paper cut with a playing card before choking him in the corner and stomping him down. Petey gets a near fall off of a roll up and hits a tilt-a-whirl side Russian leg sweep before Ace hits a flat liner and a rolling kick for a near fall. Ace hits a jumping stomp and gets caught with a powerbomb before Ace hits a variation of a neckbreaker for a near fall. Petey hits a code red and locks in a sharpshooter, Ace getting to the ropes for the break before Ace hits a diving famouser.
Petey then hits a DDT before Ace counters a Canadian destroyer and hits a frankensteiner into The Fold for the pin and the win.
Winner: Ace Austin defeats Petey Williams via pinfall with The Fold.
Rosemary vs Kiera Hogan
Kiera goes right after Rosemary and hits a huricanrrana that sends her across the ring before Kiera hits a diving cross body and Rosemary a sit-out side slam. Kiera counters an F5 and gets a nest fall off of several superkicks before Rosemary hits a release German suplex and locks in the tarantula in the ropes. Rosemary is then attacked by Undead Bridesmaids for the disqualification.
Winner: Rosemary defeats Kiera Hogan via disqualification when Su Yung's Undead Bridesmaids attack Rosemary.
-After the match Su and the Bridesmaids lay Rosemary out as Kiera watches from the top of the stage before leaving as we go to commercial.
-We get an IMPACT Plus Flashback match featuring RVD and Rhino on a First Blood Match.
Eddie Edwards vs Fenix
The two high flyers surprisingly get the match started by grappling on the mat before they lock up for a clean break and Eddie goes to hit Fenix with Kenny, but stops. Fenix his a rolling dropkick and Eddie kicks him through the ropes and out of the ring before chopping him at ringside as Killer Kross comes out and watches the match from the stage. Back in the ring Fenix superkicks Eddie and hits a rolling crucifix pin for a near fall before Eddie rolls out of the ring and hits a blue thunderbomb when they get back inside for a near fall. Fenix hits a rolling cutter before Eddie hits a Tiger driver for a near fall and Killer Kross grabs Kenny before he distracts Eddie and Fenix hits the Fenix driver for the pin and the win.
Winner: Fenix defeats Eddie Edwards via pinfall with the Fenix driver.
-RVD comes out to the ring and talks about his career in IMPACT and elsewhere before he's interrupted by Ethan Page who's carrying a chair. Ethan gets into the ring and sits down on the chair while talking to RVD who leans against another chair and they agree to a match before Rob tosses a chair to Ethan and kicks it, sending Ethan out of the ring as we go to commercial.
Pentagon Jr. vs Johnny Impact vs Michael Elgin
Penta and Johnny go at it before Michael powerbombs Johnny onto the apron and German suplexes Pentagon before hitting a running clothesline in the corner. Penta hits a diving stomp when he gets Michael caught up in the ropes before they hit a variation of the tower of doom. Penta superkicks Johnny before Michael hits a running splash into a uranage and suplexes Johnny on top of Pentagon. Michael turns Johnny inside out with a lariat before Johnny hits an enzuigiri and a spinning powerbomb for a near fall. Michael rocks Johnny with a series of kicks and Penta hits a slide blade to Johnny and Michael before Penta hits a Pentagon driver to Michael for a near fall. Penta then takes Michael out at ringside before Johnny hits him with a chair and misses Starship Pain before Michael hits a lariat into a buckle bomb and a sit-out powerbomb for the pin and the win.
Winner: Michael Elgin defeats Johnny Impact and Pentagon Jr. when he pins Johnny with a sit-out powerbomb.
