Rhea Ripley Didn't Think She And Damian Priest Could Get Any Closer Until Judgment Day Betrayal

Rhea Ripley didn't think she and Damian Priest could get any closer.

Priest and Ripley's friendship has spanned several years, stemming from the pairs time in NXT before they eventually found themselves as allies in The Judgment Day. Fast forward to SummerSlam 2024, Priest and Ripley were betrayed by Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor.

While speaking in a new WWE Vlog prior to Bad Blood, Ripley noted that the betrayal only made her and priest closer friends.

"Damian and I were very, very close from the get go. NXT, automatically friends. I didn't think that we could get closer. But that's what you did, Finn. That's what you did, Dom. That's what you did, Liv, and the other two bozos. What we got, that's a bond, that's love, that's family."

Ripley is currently scheduled to challenge Liv Morgan for the WWE Women's World Championship with Dominik Mystero locked inside a shark cage for the bout. Elsewhere, Damian Priest will go one on one with Finn Balor.

Ripley recently noted in an interview that she cried following the breakup of the original Judgment Day. You can read more about that here.
