Charlotte Flair didn't make her WrestleMania 36 challenge, but Rhea Ripley gave her something to think about.
The NXT Champion made a surprise appearance on WWE Raw, stepping to Flair and daring her to challenge for the NXT Championship at WrestleMania 36. Charlotte has the right to challenge the Raw Women's Champion, SmackDown Women's Champion, or NXT Champion by virtue of her Women's Royal Rumble victory. In her promo, Charlotte mentioned she's defeated Bayley and Becky Lynch before. Ripley made sure to note that Charlotte has not defeated her, but she has defeated Charlotte. Ripley scored a pinfall victory over Charlotte in a triple threat match on the SmackDown before WWE Survivor Series 2019.
Charlotte walked away, giving a "Wooo" at the top of the ramp.
