Ricky Starks vs. Bryan Danielson, Rob Van Dam Return, AEW Tag Title Bout Set For 9/23 AEW Collision

Ricky Starks and Bryan Danielson will clash one more time. After Ricky Starks pinned Bryan Danielson in a tag team match on the September 16 episode of AEW Collision, Starks wasn't satisfied that Danielson was still getting attention. In a backstage promo, Starks challenged Danielson to a Texas Deathmatch on the September 23 episode of AEW Collision.

The match was immediately made official.

Danielson previously defeated Starks in a strap match at AEW All out.

AEW also announced that Jay White and Andrade El Idolo will meet in singles competition on the September 23 episode of AEW Collision. The bout was set up on the September 16 episode of AEW Collision when White, flanked by Juice Robinson & The Gunns (Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn) confronted Andrade, who had just defeated Scorpio Sky.

Plus, Rob Van Dam will return to the ring in his home state of Michigan. RVD last wrestled on the August 9 episode of AEW Dynamite, losing to Jack Perry.

Finally, FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) will defend their AEW Tag Team Titles against The WorkHorsemen (Anthony Henry & JD Drake). The WorkHorsemen answered FTR's open challenge after FTR defeated Iron Savages (Boulder & Bronson) on the September 16 episode of AEW Collision.
