Roman Reigns looks strong as he surpasses yet another record as WWE Champion.
Having already racked up over 1,000 days as WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns has now surpassed CM Punk's 434-day run as WWE Champion. Roman has held the WWE title since WWE WrestleMania 38 Sunday. On that night, he defeated Brock Lesnar to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, recognized as both WWE Universal Champion and WWE Champion.
CM Punk was the WWE Champion from WWE Survivor Series 2011 until the WWE Royal Rumble in 2013, where, despite having some help from Roman Reigns and the other members of The Shield, CM Punk fell to another member of The Bloodline, The Rock.

CM Punk returned to professional wrestling after a seven-and-a-half-year absence when he joined AEW in 2021. He is now slated to return to AEW on June 17, headlining during the debut episode of AEW Saturday Collision.
