Sin Cara Makes Surprise Appearance At AAA Guerra De Titanes

Sin Cara has returned to Lucha Libre AAA.

At the AAA Guerra de Titanes event, Sin Cara surprised the crowd in Ciudad Madero, Tamaulipas, Mexico by helping out Pagano as he was being attacked and fending off Killer Kross.

Lee McAteer: Joe Hendry Is Absolutely Fantastic, He Deserves Every Single Thing He's Getting

The appearance comes less than a week after WWE announced that he, Luke Harper, Konnor and Viktor were released from the company. Several weeks ago, Sin Cara posted a lengthy statement asking for his release by thanking WWE for everything they have given him, but noted that he feels like he hasn't been getting an opportunity to showcase his talents to the fullest extent and does not see a career breakthrough coming so long as he stays in his current position in WWE. Earlier today, Sin Cara posted a tweet that seemed to hint at a new chapter in his wrestling career.

Although the Sin Cara character has been portrayed by multiple people, the current Sin Cara, or at least Jorge Arias, the man who was released by WWE, did wrestle in AAA in the mid-2000s, but wrestled as Incognito. During his run with WWE, Sin Cara did capture the NXT Tag Team Championship alongside Kalisto.
