Stephan Bonnar was glad to have Bobby Lashley in the ring with him.
Last year, former UFC fighter Stephan Bonnar was involved in a storyline on Impact Wrestling with Bobby Lashley, his American Top Team training partners, and Moose. Bonnar was ringside for some matches but competed with Moose against Lashley and King Mo in a cage match at Bound for Glory 2017.
In an interview with Hannibal TV, Bonnar said Lashley was a big help in the early days of his professional wrestling career.
"It's nice being so green to work with someone as seasoned as him. Because I'm a good listener, the match was so easy in terms of 'I'll just listen to Bobby,'" said Bonnar.
Lashley will be competing on Monday for a chance to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Champion in a number one contender match with Roman Reigns. Fightful Wrestling will have live coverage, discussion and a recapping podcast for that episode of Raw.
