Swerve Strickland Absolutely Wants To See Edge Join AEW And Wants To Wrestle Him

Swerve Strickland is ready to see Edge make the jump and become All Elite.

Edge recently competed in his final contracted WWE match, defeating Sheamus on August 18's WWE SmackDown. With rumors circulating that he could be heading to AEW, Swerve Strickland has said he definitely wants to see Adam Copeland in AEW and hopes to wrestle him as well.

In a recent interview with MuscleManMalcolm, Strickland reflected on hitting a Double Spear with Christian Cage during their Tag Team Coffin Match at AEW All In and its meaning.

"Absolutely. Without a doubt," Strickland said when asked whether or not he wants to see Edge across the ring from him one day in AEW. "I already tagged with his partner — his ex-partner, I should say, Christian. One of the biggest moments in that match for me, and I've said this before in another interview, was — and a lot of people don't mention that match, but one of the biggest moments was us doing the Double Spear. So that goes to show you how much [Edge] means to me and my career."

Edge was recently removed from the opening video of WWE SmackDown, and his WWE contract expires at the end of September.
