AEW CEO Tony Khan is set to make a huge announcement on the April 5 episode of AEW Dynamite. Khan has previously shared some major news live on AEW TV; on the March 2, 2022 episode, he revealed that he acquired Ring of Honor. Ahead of his latest reveal, fans are already buzzing, as Khan has teased that he will make one of the most important announcements in AEW history.
Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Khan previewed his special announcement and noted that it will mark a huge milestone for the company.
“This is something I’ve dreamed of for years. It’s a huge milestone for AEW, and I can’t wait to talk about it. There will be fans around the world who will be excited—it is one of the most important announcements ever in AEW," Khan said.
Khan also hyped up the April 5 episode of AEW Dynamite as a whole, as he stated that it will be a special show. He noted that between AEW Dynamite and AEW All Access, it will be a great night from start to finish.
