Malcom Bivens is so brave.
Malcolm Bivens’ pride and joy in his professional life is NXT’s Diamond Mine. The Cornerstone of the group is Roderick Strong and the centerpiece was the NXT Cruiserweight Championship.
However, that title has now been unified with the NXT North American Champion, and unfortunately, the last person to hold the title will be Carmelo Hayes. 'Melo beat Strong at NXT New Year's Evil to unify the belts.
Malcolm Bivens, wearing his heart on his sleeves like a real man, paid tribute to the former centerpiece of Diamond Mine with a music video set to I'll Be Missing You by Puff Daddy, Faith Evans, and 112.
The emotional music video was more than a soft reenactment of the actual music video for the song, it was a tribute to Strong’s time with the championship and an emotional showcase of what the belt meant to Malcolm Bivens personally.
At the end of the video, a graphic showed the NXT Cruiserweight Championship officially stamping its defunct status as of January 2022.
