Tye Dillinger apologizes for his actions seven years ago.
This week, the tweets of WWE Wrestlers Tye Dillinger and Cedric Alexander resurfaced from 2011 and 2012 where they were making jokes about what did and didn't constituted rape.
As expected, Dillinger and Alexander were tweeted by many users about the offensive tweets. Alexander deleted every tweet but then he and Dillinger sent out tweets as an apology. Both pointed out they had bad tastes in "humor" six years ago.
At the time of the tweets, neither wrestler were in WWE. Alexander was working with Ring of Honor and independent wrestling promotions and Dillinger had left the WWE developmental program a few years before.
Alexander defends his WWE Cruiserweight Championship at SummerSlam against Drew Gulak.
Fightful Wrestling will report any consequences of these tweets or if Alexander makes a public comment about the situation.
