WWE Adds Tyler Bate To SmackDown Roster

Tyler Bate is officially a member of the Friday Night SmackDown roster.

On the January 5th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Tyler Bate would feature as Butch's surprise partner to take on the team of Pretty Deadly. The reunited British Strong Style would capture the victory on the show, marking Bate's main roster debut in the promotion.

Following his main roster debut, Bate has been officially added to the SmackDown roster page on WWE's website signifying that his main roster callup is a permenent one.

Bate had been a member of the WWE developmental system since 2016, when he joined NXT UK and became the inaugral NXT UK Champion at just 19 years old in early 2017. Bate would make his way over to the stateside NXT brand upon the closure of NXT UK, and now he has made his way to the main roster.
