Rhodes and Reigns are going Hollywood.
After months of anticipation, the first bout has been made official for WrestleMania 39. In the opening segment of the January 30 edition of WWE Raw, Cody Rhodes name dropped Roman Reigns in his post Royal Rumble victory promo, citing that the two will clash on The Grandest Stage Of Them All.
Although it was Rhodes' only option given that Reigns holds the two world championships within the company, WWE went on to confirm the massive bout on their social media channels.
REIGNS. RHODES. WRESTLEMANIA.

It is currently unknown which night of WrestleMania 39 that Reigns and Rhodes will face off on.
Ever since making his return to WWE back in April 2022, Rhodes has often expressed his intention of winning a world title within the confines of WWE. This will be Rhodes' first world title match in WWE since 2009, where he took on Randy Orton in a WWE Championship match that hosted John Cena as the special guest referee.
