Xavier Woods, Big E, and Kofi Kingston formed The New Day a decade ago and have become one of the most decorated tag teams in WWE history.
They were the longest-reigning tag team champions of all time before The Usos (Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso) broke their record. They have won a combined nine WWE Tag Team Championships.
New Day has been mentioned alongside legendary teams and groups like D-Generation X, NWO, The Road Warriors, Four Horsemen, and more.
Speaking to SEN, Woods boasted that New Day deserves to be above those teams and groups for various reasons.
"I'm going to say we're the most decorated tag team in the history of WWE. We're the longest-tenured without any sort of hiccups or offshoots. Kind of, objectively, we're the best. Just saying. If (Ric) Flair is the best because he has 16 title reigns, then I think we're at the top of the list.
"That longevity, I think it comes from everybody on the team focusing on what's best for the team. That's always been the objective. It hasn't ever been, 'I need to do XYZ, so I can become King of the Ring.' That's a secondary objective. What is this going to do for the team? Everything that we're doing is for the team, then I will eventually reach my objective."
New Day is currently experiencing some growing pains without Big E as Woods and Kofi try to get back on track.
They will take on Alpha Academy (Otis & Akira Tozawa) on Monday's WWE Raw.
