WWE SmackDown

JBL: As Part Of The New Ownership Team For AAA, It’s Going To Be A Global Takeover

- Ronda Rousey opened the show by challenging Charlotte Flair to an I Quit Match at WrestleMania Backlash, but The Queen denied her request. Ronda followed up with Adam Pearce later in the night and he said they would have a definitive answer on whether the match will happen by the end of tomorrow.

- Xavier Woods defeated Butch, who was competing in his first match on SmackDown. After the match, Woods got on Twitter and revealed that he has added a new finishing maneuver to his repertoire, Backwoods.

- Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser (formerly Marcel Barthel) made their SmackDown debuts, with The Ring General disposing of Joe Alonzo with the utmost ease.

- Raquel Gonzalez has also been called up from NXT to SmackDown. She, however, will now be known as Raquel Rodriguez.

- After weeks of treating Madcap Moss horribly, Happy Corbin was beaten down by his now-former friend after he blamed Moss for his WrestleMania loss and insulted his jokes.

- Looking to earn back everyone's respect after losing to Johnny Knoxville, Sami Zayn had a match against Drew McIntyre but escaped through the crowd when things didn't go his way. Sami can run but he can't hide as he has been booked to face Drew once again next week.

- Lacey Evans returned to WWE programming with a vignette in which she told "Chapter One' in the story of her life.

- Just three days before she and Rhea Ripley challenge Sasha Banks and Naomi for the Tag Team Titles on Raw, Liv Morgan scored an upset victory over The Boss on SmackDown.

- Roman Reigns, now the Unified Universal WWE Champion, wants The Bloodline to unify the Tag Team Titles as well. As a result, Jimmy and Jey are headed to Raw where they will confront RK-Bro.

AEW Rampage

- Bryan Danielson kicked off Rampage with a hard-fought win over Trent Beretta.

- Hiding in a trash can, Danhausen once again tried and failed to curse HOOK after he was interviewed backstage. HOOK threw his bag of chips in the trash, which Danhausen picked up and started to eat thinking they may be the source behind his powers.

- Scorpio Sky is not willing to give Sammy Guevara a TNT Championship match, with Ethan Page saying that Sammy may be one of the four pillars, but he's also the first crack in the foundation of AEW.

- QT Marshall was awarded Chris Jericho's Sports Entertainer of the Week award.

- After defeating QT Marshall, Swerve Strickland was challenged to a Tag Team match on Dynamite in which he and Keith Lee would take on Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs. The match was made official later in the show.

- A new vignette aired for Marina Shafir ahead of her match with Jade Cargill. Shafir is begging for Jade to solve her, a play on her nickname, The Problem.

- Red Velvet defeated Willow Nightingale to qualify for the Owen Hart Foundation Women's Tournament.

- Mark Sterling believes that Tony Nese isn't getting the spotlight he wants and/or deserves because of improper legal representation.

- Despite losing to Jon Moxley in the main event, a bloodied Wheeler Yuta has finally earned the respect of the Blackpool Combat Club, even getting a handshake from William Regal. Yuta proceeded to write BCC on his chest in blood and was then told by Moxley that the real work starts now.
