Zandokan Jr: I Want to Be The Newest Member of LIJ

Zandokan Jr makes his intentions clear.

CMLL Wrestler Zandokan Jr debuted in New Japan Pro-Wrestling by participating in the 2023 edition of he promotion's annual World Tag League Tournament, teaming with current Los Ingobernables de Japon member Yota Tsuji.

The team has had mixed success, currently standing 5th in the B-Block on 8 points with a record of Three wins & three losses so far; however, they won their most recent match, defeating the top seed of the B-Block, the team of Monstersauce (Lance Archer & Alex Zayne) on the December 4th Show.

After the events of this match, Zandokan Jr cut a promo backstage about his run in the tournament before calling out the leader of LIJ, Tetsuya Naito, and saying he wanted to join the faction. He stated the following:

“World Tag League 2023. I was halfway there, but Zandokan Jr’s dream to be in NJPW, the best company in Japan, and compete with these wrestlers was accomplished. Now everyone will be hearing the name of Zandokan Jr. Naito-San, I am begging it now in front of everyone: I want to be the newest member of Los Ingobernables de Japón.”
