Zilla Fatu Explains Why He Thinks WWE ID Is Great For All Wrestlers

Zilla Fatu says WWE ID is a great avenue.

Zilla Fatu, the son of Umaga, remains active on the independent scene. He continues to wrestle for House of Glory, and he returned to Reality of Wrestling earlier in 2024. Meanwhile, WWE recently announced the launch of WWE Independent Development (WWE ID), a program designed to help independent wrestling schools and talent. Booker T's Reality of Wrestling is one of the officially designated schools.

Speaking on The Wrestle Era Podcast, Zilla Fatu was asked to share his thoughts on WWE ID and the program working with Reality of Wrestling.

“My thought process is, I think it’s great. I think it’s great, not only for me, but for independent wrestlers because it just gives them an easy avenue to get seen. All these wrestlers, what we need is exposure, as much exposure as we can. So what WWE ID is, it’s basically like a scout team, and I guess if you’re one of the prospects, it’s like a college scout. When you they go to these high schools, they talk, they host seminars, you can pick their brain, or they can do hands-on, train one-on-one. So I think it’s a great avenue just for all wrestlers," Fatu said.

Booker T recently said that he would try to help Zilla Fatu get to WWE. Check out his comments here.
