This is the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of WWE Smackdown! Live. Clash of Champions has come and gone and Dolph Ziggler is the new WWE United States champion, AJ Styles is still WWE champion and the Uso penitentiary is still on lock down. Tonight we have a Six-Man tag match as AJ Styles teams up with Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura to take on Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Jinder Mahal. We also have a tag match where the Usos take on Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin in a non-title match and much more so be sure to come back here at 8 PM EST for all of the action and stick around after the show for the post show podcast!
-Daniel Bryan comes out to start the show and talks about the Women's Royal Rumble match and the main event tonight before Shane comes out to the ring. Shane reiterates what Daniel said about the women's Royal Rumble match before talking about the match the two refereed this past Sunday at Clash of Champions. Shane points out how Daniel broke up a pin attempt by Randy before he wouldn't count three for Sami. Shane talks about his vendetta against Sami and Kevin before talking about Daniel's quick count and how Sami and Kevin being in the WWE still is his fault. Daniel says that he protected Shane from himself and that he did what he did as an unbiased participant.
Daniel lectures Shane about how everyone deserves to be treated the same way whether Shane likes them or not before Shane issues a warning to Daniel. Daniel talks about what happens when you do what's best for business before saying that he doesn't want Shane to turn into his father. Shane then wished Daniel good luck tonight before leaving the ring and seemingly leaving the arena as we go to commercial.
The Usos vs Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin
Chad takes Jey down to start the match before Jey backs him into his corner and Jimmy tags in. Jimmy whips Chad across the ring sternum first before sending him out of the ring as we go to commercial.
Shelton is in as we come back from commercial, Jimmy rolling him up for a quick two count before Jey tags in and hits a Samoan drop to Chad before Chad rolls him into for a near fall. Shelton fights with Jey on the top before Chad gets his knees up when he goes for a splash. Chad and Shelton then hit a double team move off of the top for the pin and the win.
Winner: Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin via pinfall
-Naomi comes out and declares that she's joining the women's Royal Rumble match.
Charlotte & Naomi vs Ruby Riott & Sarah Logan
Charlotte is in control as we come back from commercial until Sarah comes back and she and Ruby keep Charlotte isolated in their corner. They focus on the leg of Charlotte until she finally tags Naomi in, Naomi hitting a springboard dropkick for a quick two count. Naomi then rolls Sarah up after she accidentally runs into Liv on the apron for the pin and the win.
Winner: Charlotte & Naomi via pinfall
-Dolph comes out and celebrates his victory in becoming a two time WWE United States champion before he goes over all of his championship accolades.
New Day vs Rusev Day
Aiden starts the match with Kofi before Kofi starts getting in and out of the ring, Rusev chasing him around until he gets back in the ring and sends both Aiden and Rusev out of the ring. New Day then steal Rusev's bag and start throwing shirts into the crowd until Rusev and Aiden attack them from behind as we go to commercial.
Kofi gets turned inside out with a lariat as we come back from commercial, then hits a tornado DDT before tagging Xavier in. Aiden hits a spinebuster before Rusev comes in and tosses Xavier out of the ring before Rusev and Aiden get out of the ring and make a pancake sundae at ringside. New Day then hit a flapjack into the pancakes before they get back in the ring and Xavier hits an elbow drop off of the top for the pin and the win.
Winner: New Day via pinfall
Six-Man Tag Match
Everyone brawls to start the match before spilling out of the ring and Randy back drops Jinder onto the announce table before rolling him back into the ring. Randy tags Shinsuke in only for Jinder to back him into his corner and tags Sami in. Sami and Shinsuke exchange straight armbars for a clean break before Shinsuke drops Sami with a series of kicks. Sami counters a reverse exploder suplex before AJ tags in and drags Sami over only for Randy to tag back in and drop Sami with a knee for a quick two count. Jinder tags in and drops Randy with a back elbow before hitting a knee drop, then drags Randy to his corner before tagging Kevin in as we go to commercial.
Kevin is in control of Randy as we come back from commercial until Randy gets out of the way and Kevin goes shoulder first into the ring post. Randy tags AJ in and AJ gets sent out of the ring by Jinder when he lowers the middle rope before Kevin goes out after him and sends him into the barricade. Kevin rolls AJ back into the ring before tagging Sami in, Sami dropping AJ with a back elbow before tagging Jinder in. AJ hits a tornado DDT before tagging Shinsuke in, Shinsuke dropping both Sami and Kevin before knocking Jinder off of the apron. Shinsuke hits a series of knees and Good Vibrations in the corner before hitting double knees in the corner for a near fall.
Shinsuke rolls into an armbar before Kevin breaks it up, then everyone hits a move before the Singh brothers are barred from ringside. Randy then hits an RKO to Jinder before hitting a double draping DDT to the Singh brothers and AJ hits a Phenomenal Forearm before Shinsuke finishes with the Kinshasa for the pin and the win.
Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura, AJ Styles & Randy Orton via pinfall
