After much speculation, the 2017 Royal Rumble location has been revealed.
Next year's WWE Royal Rumble will take place in San Antonio, Texas at the Alamodome. This will be the first Rumble in San Antonio since 2007.
The 1997 Royal Rumble also took place in San Antonio at the Alamodome, and featured hometown hero Shawn Michaels taking on Sycho Sid for the WWF Championship in the main event. Michaels also appeared in the main event of the 2007 Royal Rumble from the AT&T Center, as he made it to the end of the Rumble match himself before being tossed out by fellow Texan, The Undertaker.
