The WWE has released a three-year developmental wrestler.
Hugo Knox, real name Stuart Tomlinson was cut by the company this week in what PWinsider claims was a mutual parting of the ways. Knox was seen on Twitter this week scoffing at fans asking when he'll appear on WWE NXT TV again.
The UK native has reportedly moved back home since the released. He most recently appeared on a WWE live event on August 13 in Fort Pierce, where he lost to Wesley Blake. Knox holds victories over Blake, Tino Sabbatelli, Patrick Clark, Tye Dillinger, Tucker Knight, Sawyer Fulton, Alexander Wolfe, Riddick Moss and more. Knox also teamed with Finn Balor on NXT's UK tour, and Bayley last fall on a live event.
Knox appeared on NXT TV once earlier this year, teaming with the aforementioned Tucker Knight in a losing effort to the Vaudevillains.
The 31-year old former goalkeeper Tomlinson was signed by WWE in late 2013.
