NXT's roster pool could be getting even more depth soon.
Just days after the releases of Sara Lee, Hugo Knox and CJ Dunning were announced, it looks like NXT is back to adding names. According to a report from PWInsider, former Ring of Honor World Champion Roderick Strong will debut with the company.
The report states that Strong will likely be brought in as Austin Aries' mystery partner for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. The two are no strangers, and have teamed together for Roh, WWNLive, PWG, 1PW and TNA, with them becoming the ROH World Tag Team Titles.
PWInsider says that Strong has signed with WWE, and has been seen at the WWE Performance Center preparing for his debut. Strong is a former PWG and ROH World Champion, and has also captured the ROH TV title, as well as the PWG Tag titles.
Strong last competed for ROH in June, dropping four matches in a row on his way out.
